Savoury Spirals
INGREDIENTS (Serves 4)
25g parmesan, grated
225g puff pastry
100 pitted green olives, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
Garlic clove, crushed
Black pepper, ground
Paprika, to dust
DIRECTIONS
- Roll out pastry to a 20x25cm rectangle.
- Mix together olives, garlic, parmesan and pepper.
- Brush the pastry with a beaten egg
- Spread olive paste over the top
- Tightly roll up the pastry to make a swiss roll shape
- Chill in fridge for 20 mins
- Preheat oven 220O/Gas7
- Once chilled, cut into thin slices and place on baking tray
- Dust with paprika
- Bake for 10-12 mins until golden
- Cool on a wire rack
