Chocolate dipped strawberries
INGREDIENTS
40 large washed strawberries
250g dark chocolate
DIRECTIONS
- Have ready a sheet of grease proof paper or baking parchment
- Break chocolate into small pieces, place in a bowl over a pan of simmering water
- Allow chocolate to melt and remove from heat, but leave bowl over the pan of warm
water
- Leave stalks on each strawberry and place on to a skewer and dip the tip of each
into the melted chocolate
- Twizzle each one to avoid any drips then place on to the paper or parchment
- Leave strawberries to cool and harden
- Put into paper cases to serve
If making in advance, keep in a cool dry place, but not the fridge as the chocolate
will lose its sheen.
