Chocolate dipped strawberries

 

INGREDIENTS

 

40 large washed strawberries

250g dark chocolate

 

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Have ready a sheet of grease proof paper or baking parchment
  2. Break chocolate into small pieces, place in a bowl over a pan of simmering water
  3. Allow chocolate to melt and remove from heat, but leave bowl over the pan of warm water
  4. Leave stalks on each strawberry and place on to a skewer and dip the tip of each into the melted chocolate
  5. Twizzle each one to avoid any drips then place on to the paper or parchment
  6. Leave strawberries to cool and harden
  7. Put into paper cases to serve

 

If making in advance, keep in a cool dry place, but not the fridge as the chocolate will lose its sheen.
