Chocolate biscuits

 

INGREDIENTS (Makes 24)

 

100g butter or marge

50g castor sugar

100g self raising flour

25g drinking chocolate/sieved cocoa powder

A few drops of vanilla essence

 

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Heat oven 190C gas5
  2. Grease a baking tray
  3. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  4. Stir in flour and drinking chocolate/cocoa to form a stiff place and add vanilla essence
  5. Roll mixture into 24 marble sized balls and place on baking tray
  6. Flatten balls with a fork dipped in cold water and bake for about 10 mins
  7. Cool on a wire rack

 

Serve either warm from the oven or at room temperature.
